student achievement award for work in Music Business at MCC

During the Spring of 2024, I was nominated for the Student Achievement Award. Nominated by my program director and professor, Alexandra Perdue, I accepted my award in person at the award ceremony.

Honored for: “Working in the music industry, as she pursues her music business studies at MCC. She is passionate and dedicated in her coursework, as well as in her career development. Aly has translated her lifelong interest in live music into numerous Industry opportunities including designing merchandise for bands, developing her own website, and creating/hosting a podcast. Among her goals is to increase opportunities for women and people of color in the rock music space. Aly interns with a local concert promoter’s marketing team in Hawaii creating social media ads. She was promoted to assistant to the artists band manager and assistant event coordinator. She also worked on the events team at Innings Fest.”
